Gold prices were down on Monday after second continuously weekly drop down last week. US dollar got strengthen and Euro prices were decreased because of political confusion in Germany.
The euro dropped in early Asian trading on Monday after Germany's election which showed strong support for a new party that kept Chancellor Angela Merkel struggling to form a governing integration.
A scheme to withdraw the Obamacare health insurance program was proposed by US Republicans.Senator Ted Cruz showed his disagreement and Senator Susan Collins went into with strong opposition of the constitution.
